I am a ceramic artist now living and working in Rotherham although I grew up in rural South-west Scotland, surrounded by it''s own natural environment and rugged landscape. The natural world coninues to inspire me, from geology and ragged distant mountain peaks to tree bark and leaves. Most of my work is hand-built but I enjoy throwing on the wheel too and experimenting. Some of my work is suitable for outdoors. From time to time my work has appeared in the industry periodical Ceramic Review and in the newsletter of the Northern Potters' Association. All of my work is made in my workshop at home. A small selection of my work is available in the shop at Clifton Park Museum, Rotherham.
